Stunt Team

Do you have what it takes?

In order to qualify for the Malu'Olu Stunt Team you must complete the following requirements:

• You must be a member in good standing of Malu'Olu Ranch, i.e. this means your dues must be paid up.
• You must be knocked to the ground by a horse. For example:
  • Coming off the horse while riding. It doesn't matter how you land, all unscheduled dismounts count.
  • The horse falls down and takes you with it. (And NO the horse does not get a hat)
  • The horse hits you with any part of its body and you hit the ground. For example:
    
    • Angela was squashed beween Jed and Oscar then Oscar stepped on her
    • Monica reared and spun hitting Judy in the head and knocking her down.
• There must be a witness.

Stunt Team Benefits

You are awarded a straw cowboy hat embroidered with "Malu'Olu Stunt Team" on the brim and directly under that the banner year you made the team.

You will only be given one hat, so keep it. You have the option of getting your name on the hat at your own expense, go to "Lids" in Ala Moana or Windward Mall. If you make the team again the next year, that year will be embroidered on the hat, no charge to you.

At the Year End Awards dinner we will elect a Stunt Team Captain. The Captain has no responsibilities at all, it is just a title. Your hat will have "Captain" and the year embroidered on it, no charge to you.

Wear your hat with pride, not everyone earns one.

And please remember SAFETY FIRST. Falling off is no fun. Been there done that once, twice.
